Founder & CEO, LeanLinking
20+ years in supply chain and procurement. Lars founded LeanLinking in 2013 to give procurement teams the infrastructure to manage supplier performance, quality, service and compliance without relying on spreadsheets.

Lars Kuch Pedersen has spent over two decades working inside supply chains, first as a Procurement Analyst and Supply Chain Manager operating across the Nordics, later as a Head of Procurement for an international wholesale business across Europe. In 2013, Lars founded LeanLinking in Aarhus, Denmark, with a clear thesis: procurement teams in regulated industries needed a purpose-built SRM platform, not another module bolted onto an ERP. Thirteen years later, LeanLinking serves global Top-100 brands and SMEs across manufacturing, pharma, food and beverage, chemicals, and wholesale, helping procurement teams replace fragmented supplier workflows with structured, auditable governance.
Lars writes on supplier performance management, supplier onboarding, supply chain risk, and the operational realities of running procurement in regulated industries. His content draws directly from the governance challenges LeanLinking’s customers face: how to enforce supplier scorecard thresholds without manual data entry, how to maintain audit-ready supplier qualification records at scale, and how to convert supplier data into commercial leverage at contract renewal.
Lars’s writing and product thinking are grounded in operational procurement governance, with a focus on the regulated industries where supplier failure carries the highest operational and compliance cost.
His core areas of expertise include supplier performance management and scorecard methodology, supplier onboarding and qualification frameworks, supply chain risk management, SRM platform evaluation, and procurement governance in manufacturing, pharma, food and beverage, and chemicals supply chains.
